Stayed here with my mum and 9 year old sister for 3 nights. Firstly let me just say how very upset we were at the lack of information we were given during booking. When we booked this hotel we were NEVER told that the family room we were booked into didn't have its own bathroom. As we were never told... More

We arrived and were shown straight to our room which was clean and well laidout. Carol is a lovely person and host. Breakfast was great each morning. Carol asked our plans and offered advice on places to see even the ticket to get on the bus to allow us to get to make the most of where we were. Will... More

The twin room is clean and tidy. Also, there is a shower room in the room. The location of accommodation is quite convenience and it is closed to the center of Windermere. My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Dalecote Guest House.

We just spent a night at the Dalecote Guesthouse and had such a lovely stay from start to finish. Carol and her husband were both so welcoming and really bent over backwards to make myself, my friend and our two toddlers welcome. We stayed in the family room and the children slept in cots, and we still had plenty of... More

Nicely done up rooms and very friendly landlord. Parking place. To walk down to the lake is a very nice 20 min walk. The lake (and the hills around) offer fantastic views. Try some of the very narrow streets up the hills - it's really worthwhile!
