Can't fault this B & B. Carol was very inviting, It was spotlessly clean, great breakfast, right next to the shops etc. Bowness only a mile away so very close to all the pubs/restaurants and the Lake. We were made to feel very welcome and able to come and go as we pleased. Very impressed and will go back again... More

Stayed at the Dalecote for one night as we wanted a short break in the Lakes. Our room was immaculate and a great size. Very comfortable with an en suite and everything we needed. We could park at the front or behind as the owner Carol gave us a permit. It is a 15-20 minute downhill walk to the Lake... More

Stayed here for one night preparatory for a camping trip in the lakes. Really nice, I had an immaculately clean room with ensuite bathroom. Plenty of proper tea and coffee, a very comfortable room and cosy bed. 5 mins walk from the station, and very near the town, but lovely and quiet all the same. Very good breakfast indeed, set... Had a lovely stay at Dalecote. Friendly welcome upon arrival. The room was very comfortable, nice decorated and clean. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with lots of fruits, cereals and cooked breakfast. Carol was very helpful and gave advice on day trips and places to see. The B&B is located in a small, quiet street only a few minutes walk to... More

All we wanted was a cosy, comfortable B&B that was good value for money. And we certainly found one. Located brilliantly, minutes away from Windermere's amenities, we were greeted by a lovely lady (Carol) who couldn't of done anymore for us during our stay. Comfortable clean rooms and a fab breakfast. Will definitely be returning and recommending to others. Thank... More

When we booked the rooms, we couldn't pay a deposit because we didn't have a UK bank account, but our hostess, Carol reserved the rooms for us anyway. We stayed for 4 night in 2 rooms during last summer and our stay was excellent in every aspect. Carol took care of us in everyway possible. She even offered an additional... More

Stayed here with my mum and 9 year old sister for 3 nights. Firstly let me just say how very upset we were at the lack of information we were given during booking. When we booked this hotel we were NEVER told that the family room we were booked into didn't have its own bathroom. As we were never told... More
