We stayed for two nights on a romantic break package and were certainly treated as very honoured guests. Very nice receptionist gave us an upgrade room. We were put in Room 7 which was on the lowest level with nothing to interrupt our view of the gardens and the lake. Lovely four poster bed, huge bathroom with separate shower and... more

Having booked a select room in this hotel at £208 per night (a wedding present for my son.. two night stay) I was very disapointed at size of the room & bathroom to say the least! The shabby decor in the room, on the stairs & outside was terrible. Paint peeling off the paint work inside & out , wallpaper... more

I have just finished a three day event at this hotel for 87 members of the Rolls Royce Enthusiast Club. The hotel is fantastic. The staff including Donna,Johnathan,Leena ,Denis and Leanna, sorry cannot remember all the names for the other staff, were brilliant. They were very professional and yet friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional and... more

Sunday 24th May 2009. Room 29 My wife and I stayed at the Beech Hill Hotel to celebrate her birthday. For once I got it right.... The room was enormous with a huge bed and big spa corner bath. The decor was sharp and clean with leather couch and chairs for relaxing in after the days activities. Open the patio... more

We visited the Beech Hill Hotel for our honeymoon on the hotel's romatic break package. The room was roomy and extremely comfortable with a gigantic king size bed, jacuzzi bath and bottle of champagne in the room when we arrived. The hotel's food was best we've tasted and the service was excellent. We would definately like to revisit the hotel... more

We have just returned from having an 80th birthday celebration at the Beech Hill Hotel. This was our first visit, there was a party of 7. On the run up to the visit, all the hotel staff were very friendly and proffesional, promising to accomodate all our needs for this special vist. The promise turned into reality, the location, the... more

Unfortunately the glossy magazine and informative website do not reflect the current condition of the hotel. At £83 per night your money would get you much nicer accomodation somewhere else in Winderemere. We booked a standard room and were upgraded twice to a select plus room, which certainly was not either. We only had only a small view of the... more

This is the second time I have had a one night break at the Beech Hill, and it was just as good as the first time. The hotel may be a little bit away from the town, a short drive, of about five minutes but it is worth it for the quality and peace and quiet you get at the... more

We have just returned from an excellent break at this hotel and would highly recommend it. We were a party of 10 and, whilst a couple of our rooms were not quite 5 star, they were still clean, comfortable. had a pleasant decor and were more than adequete., it is also our understanding that these rooms will be re-furbished within... more
