Stayed for 5 nights. Room was nice and big, but TV reception was poor and wifi only worked in the drawing room, not in the bedroom.Breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Now before we start let me just say, we paid less than £30.00 pppn for bed & breakfast, so no one has been robbed and for that sort of money you have to let somethings, (that in a higher priced hotel would be a problem), not to be. The hotel is a little on the dated side, and it does...

Stayed over the bank holiday weekend May 2012. Room was in the Annexe - it was more of a suite with a lovely back garden, patio table and chairs and very spacious bedroom and bathroom.
We booked late so probably overpaid a bit - £89 for one night B&B (very little was available 48 hours before out trip so we...

We have just returned from a stay in the Lakes for a friend's wedding and this was the first of three hotels we stayed in. Windermere Manor was far and away the best of the three and somewhere we very much hope to return to in the future.
Our room was number 31 - in the annexe and couldn't have...

Nice friendly hotel. Great breakfasts. We love it because they wait on you at meals - no buffets, which is a real plus for me. Needs a bit more entertainment in the evening. We stayed in the annex and the rooms were lovely.
we had a good time here - the breakfasts were good and the pool was nice after a long day sightseeing. However we did not really enjoy the evening meal on the first night - it was hot but nothing special - we, as a family, much prefer a buffet arrangement with plenty of variety - but at £15 for...

We booked through Living Social Deals and were unaware that it was a hotel for blind and partially sighted guests. That said it was comfortable, the food was good(especially the breakfast)and the staff(especially the barman!)were helpful and friendly. We would stay there again.
Stayed for the first time for 2 nights bed and breakfast with my husband. The hotel was a little hard to find as the satnav took us down a dead end road at the back of the hotel. When we got back onto the main road we found Rayrigg Road easy enough but missed the hotel as the sign is...

We stayed for only 1 night as we were meeting family who were visiting the area.We found that the hotel (booked on the internet) was in a lovely setting. The room (number 26) was large and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and had duvets rather than sheets and blankets. The building itself was full of character.I accept that it caters exceptionally well...
