We arrived at the hotel at 3pm as we couldn’t find online what time check in was. The lovely man on the reception informed us that the room would not be ready until 4pm as that was the official time. We went and had a walk around Windermere for an hour or so with our 12.5 year old Chocolate Labrador... More

Stayed in the deluxe suite in the annex.its called The Bradbury cottages. Really spacious large bed and a large walk in shower. Rather expensive and they except dogs and dogs for the blind .we didnt find this a problem. Would stay their again if the price came down.

We only stayed here for the 1 night but we were very happy with our room, the food, and the service. The room was quite large (room 8), with a view of the lake. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and were happy with both the food and the prices. The service was excellent with staff making... More

Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday weekend. Chose it for location and pictures looked good. Very disappointed when saw our room large but on top floor no lift or offer to help take up luggage. In bad need of refurbishment. Used the pool which was ok but the overall area was really shabby tiles off and mouldy... More

To begin on a positive note the hotel is quiet and set in very pretty environs. There is a large garden where you can spot rabbits at play, I found it very peaceful and calming. We had a room on the first floor in the cottages. It was a nice large room with three beds as our son was with... More

Excellent. I was biking around the lakes so booked here to have as my base. It's a 5/10 minute bike ride or about a 15/20 walk up a hill north of Bowness-On-Windermere so not central. But if you're biking around the area from the hotel down the hill to Bowness is a nice little ride where you can get some... More

This hotel is clean, beautiful, well-located & the staff are wonderfully attentive! It had everything we needed, even despite arriving at 11pm - unable to find a pub in town which would serve dinner after 10. Reception handed us a order-in menu & we had a lovely amber ale from the bar in the garden, with some take-away pizza. Our... More
