My husband booked this hotel at the last minute (same day as check in). When we arrived we were given a key to room 10. We carried our 4 bags up the stairs and started to open our door. Unfortunately it became obvious that the room was already occupied by a male. We apologised to him for entering his room.... More

I'm not the sort of person who moans about everything. But this hotel really isn't worth it's money. I mean at all. The staff looked scruffy shirt untucked. Very friendly but ever so un-professional. Let's move onto the rooms. The rooms are adiquite. But some of the staff ( pardon myself) but they stink, from what I remember hotels were... More

We booked through booking.com as advised by the hotel. All looked good with a nice description of a country hotel in the Lakes and nice photos. As soon as we walked into our room however, my wife and I looked at each other sensing something was odd. Sniffing the air, looking at the décor, I thought it was an former... More

.......21 is the room that we got for our one night visit. Second time here, check in ok. Good size room, tv remote not working probably because of the batteries, tired bathroom, the worst part (for us) it was the smell coming from the kitchen located under us. Breakfast wise plates came out warm, scrambled egg uneatable, nice sausage and... More

not worth the money at all paid £150 per night, lots of dogs allowed in so dogs hair was in full abundance. the room was shabby with broken toilet roll holder and unclean carpet. the breakfast was OK and the staff quite friendly but the swimming pool is open to the public so very sparse parking available. would not visit... We arrived at the hotel at 3pm as we couldn’t find online what time check in was. The lovely man on the reception informed us that the room would not be ready until 4pm as that was the official time. We went and had a walk around Windermere for an hour or so with our 12.5 year old Chocolate Labrador... More

Stayed in the deluxe suite in the annex.its called The Bradbury cottages. Really spacious large bed and a large walk in shower. Rather expensive and they except dogs and dogs for the blind .we didnt find this a problem. Would stay their again if the price came down.

We only stayed here for the 1 night but we were very happy with our room, the food, and the service. The room was quite large (room 8), with a view of the lake. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and were happy with both the food and the prices. The service was excellent with staff making... More

Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday weekend. Chose it for location and pictures looked good. Very disappointed when saw our room large but on top floor no lift or offer to help take up luggage. In bad need of refurbishment. Used the pool which was ok but the overall area was really shabby tiles off and mouldy... More
