We stayed for 2 nights recently when we were attending a family wedding......very disappointing.
On arrival we followed the signs to 'hotel reception' only to find there was no such thing ( so why the signs?) We were told by a man to go back out and into the bar to check in. Despite the fact that the bar was...

We stumbled across this fantastic restaurant by accident - it was Saturday night of the bank holiday weekend and everywhere was busy - I am glad they were, as we had the best meal we have had for a long time at this restaurant. The service was perfectly attentive without being to intrusive. The food was superb, and the fresh...

We didn't stay at the hotel but went to the recently opened steak house for a meal. We had just walked the Dales Way and we could honestly say this was the best meal of the whole week. The service and care by staff was excellent and the food was perfect. I am pretty hard to please but the homemade...

Decided to try this for Easter weekend, we were not disappointed. throughout our stay we were looked after by all the staff. An excellent pint was pulled, the food was too die for and our room was perfect, we could not fault a thing even if we tried. We would strongly recommend a visit to the restaurant. Dave, the gentle...

The steak restaurant...

We stayed here over the Easter weekend, just as the new restaurant was opened. The room was lovely, and the bathroom spotless. Breakfast was was full english and a vegggie/vegan option also available, cereal and juice to start, you could then order what you liked, be it the full english or bacon/sausage/scrambled egg on toast, and it was all freshly cooked...

Having been several times to this establishment for food and found it to be ok, I was very disappointed to receive such badly cooked food and couldn't care less attitude of the staff.
Gammon and chips was ordered - The gammon was not wholly cooked and the chips was like a load of pulp inside, making the meal uneatable. On...
