We chose this place as it already had a perfect score on Trip Advisor. The score is well-deserved! The room was clean, homely and comfortable. The breakfasts were supurb (set you up for a day of walking and exploring). The location was perfect. Free parking (albeit a bit tight). This was our second visit to Holly Lodge. We have stayed in many B&Bs in Windermere/Bowness over the years but Holly Lodge is the first one we have visited again. Holly Lodge is a friendly B&B with great accommodation and lovely food! Definitely worth a visit! more
