What a lovely place to stay. It has been renovated recently to a high standard. Staff are very helpful and friendly and could not be more helpful. We stayed in the triple room with a huge bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic. Very close to the train station. Excellent value. Will come again.

Rooms have now been renovated and I can say that they are very nice and comfortable. Mattress was very comfortable and the new bathroom very spacious and tastefully done. I will be back

The service was excellent, super friendly and helpfull. The restaurant has the best home made food I have had in England! The rooms were very nice, very good beds and very clean. Its the place to stay or at least have dinner if you go to the Lake District.
