Had a fantastic weekend at the White Rose Windermere, would most definitely recommend, rooms were clean and cooked breakfast was beautiful, caroline was the perfect host! Big thankyou!

We are approximately third or fourth time visitors to this hotel and our appreciation of it gets better everytime we go. We tend to go for short 'walkiing' holidays in the winter, and though there is plenty of choice for an evening meal out just a short walk away, we love to return to our logdings to finish the evening... We had a very relaxing stay at White Rose over the New Year weekend. Rooms are cosy and clean, breakfast is superb and Caroline is very welcoming and helpful. Excellent location: in the heart of Windermere village and only a 20 mins walk to the lake/Bowness. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!

This is the third time we have stayed here and you could not ask for more. It is so welcoming and the rooms are clean, warm and homely with everything you would need. There are a lot of nice touches that indicate that the White Rose is in experienced hands, for example a bottle opener and wine glasses, fold away trays, a DVD player (with a small selection of films) and unfussy, but very pleasant decor. We stayed at this wonderful B&B for a week celebrating our honeymoon. Caroline couldn’t have done more to make us feel so welcome. We had room 3 which was immaculate.
