My Mum and I chose to stay at White Rose based on the Trip Advisor reviews and were very happy to find White Rose very clean and comfortable. Caroline was an absolutely wonderful host and made us very welcomed; the only regret was we stayed for one night - would definitely return. It's highly recommended. more

Excellent B&B. Welcoming, quiet,fantastic location (middle of town,not far from the rail station and bus stops). Caroline offerred us where and how to visit main attractions in the lake district and it was really great! Comfortable rooms. Received a lovely welcome on arrival. Caroline very helpful. Room was clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely. Only minor point, and very minor, was the room was a bit small but you had everything you needed, TV, DVD Tea and coffee facilities, ensuite. Would go again and reccommend to friends. more

Stayed at the White Rose in Winderemere with my mum and had a fantastic experience. Caroline was an extremely welcoming host.
