We stayed at Bank House for 3 days in November and had a wonderful time. The room was very comfortable and clean and it would be hard to get a better breakfast . More importantly, the owners were delightful and friendly. The tariff was reasonable and location only 5 mins from town center. more
Very good Bed and Breakfast ,rooms and ensuite facilties of a very good standard.Owners very friendly and helpful.Great choice for breakfast something for everyone cooked breakfast to die for all locally sourced produce.Would return. more
A very welcome end to a weeks walking. Lovely friendly staff. Brilliant breakfast all from local produce, the hand made soaps and toiletries were lovely and as you could buy them made for great presents too. more
We had an excellent 2 night stay at the Bank House. The room in which we stayed in was beautiful and the breakfasts were amazing with lots of local produce. The owner Sarah made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended. more

Stayed here with my young son. Owners were helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, bathroom was spotless. Towels etc good. Breakfast excellent. Can't fault it. Roughly same adult price as other good b/bs in Penrith and kids half price which is a real bargain. Would not look anywhere else in town if I was visiting again. more
Stayed for 1 night at this lovely B and B. Beautiful room, delicious food and very friendly owners. Would definitely stay again - highly recommended! more
The breakfast are out of this world catering for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. The choice was good, with fresh produce including home made bread. The rooms were clean and included good quality toileteries as well as a good hospitality tray with fresh milk. The owners were friendly and helpful. more
Well appointed rooms mostly with fine views of lakeland. Wonderful breakfasts from friendly and enthusiastic hosts. Returning for our third visit this year in September. more
We took four rooms at Bank House for a weekend trip with friends to Potfest in the Park at Hutton-In-The-Forest. Sarah and Dean were very friendly and accommodated all of us, our different arrival times and breakfast requirements, very cheerfully.
