We are just about to embark on our next visit to Centerparcs, my kids absolutely love it here! This holiday can be as cheap or as expensive as you make it. We stayed in one of the new Woodland Lodges and were really pleased with it. Although the lights in the ceilings in the bathroom were full of wasps!! They... more

Have just come back from a stay here. I'm sorry to hear about the troubles a previous dog-owner had , but please let me redress it a bit. Our Comfort lodge was clean , tidy , no smells, comfortable and cosy. More spacious than i had imagined. So don't worrry about going . This was our 4th time here ,... more

This was my 4th trip to Center Parcs and my 2nd to Whinfell. It's a great place for a short break and I couldn't recommend it enough. There was six adults in our party and we had a great weekend. We stayed in a Woodside Lodge and there was more than enough room for the six of us, we had... more

Stayed in Beechwood, expensive but worth it. Really comfortable accomadation and very clean. Great pool and well kept grounds. Wildlife in abundance - red squirrals virtually outside the door on one evening! Only drawback was smoke detectors set a little too sharp - went off more than once with the cooker going so don't forget to open the hood extractor.... more

Upon arriving at Center Parcs we drove to our lodge in Moorland view and upon opening the door the smell of foosty dogs and grime was pretty offputting,. All plates and cutlery had to be washed as they were greasy and smelly, and we eventually had to go and buy cleaning products and wash the floor and all the surfaces... more

Stayed at Whinfell for Christmas 08 in one of the newly designed woodland lodges. The accomodation is lovely, and the sofa is actually comfotable (those of you that have stayed in centreparcs before will know what I mean!), the three bedrooms were well furnished and overall the lodge was of a high standard. The new excellent booking facility on-line allows... more

Just got back from a midweek break at Oasis Whinfell. Having been to Sherwood forest 6 times then we thought a change would be good! The park is (our opinion) better looking than Sherwood, the lodges look like proper forest homes as opposed to concrete boxes at Sherwood. We had a 3 bedroom comfort plus in a nice little area... more

This is my fourth trip to Whinfell- this time we stayed in a 2 bed Woodland Lodge in Beechwood. Luckily clean- and I have encountered dirty accommodation at Longleat- the only 2 minor issues with the accommodation were one of the hairdryers didnt work, and one of the bed lights was missing. But even so- we werent overlooked and had... more

We have just returned from Whinfell Center Parcs today, we had previously been to Longleat in May 2008. After choosing accommodation which was miles from the pool and up a steep hill at Longleat, this time we had studied the map carefully and had perfectly placed accommodation! We (four adults and three children aged 8, 1 and 1) stayed in... more
