Stayed in Beechwood, expensive but worth it. Really comfortable accomadation and very clean. Great pool and well kept grounds. Wildlife in abundance - red squirrals virtually outside the door on one evening! Only drawback was smoke detectors set a little too sharp - went off more than once with the cooker going so don't forget to open the hood extractor.... more

Upon arriving at Center Parcs we drove to our lodge in Moorland view and upon opening the door the smell of foosty dogs and grime was pretty offputting,. All plates and cutlery had to be washed as they were greasy and smelly, and we eventually had to go and buy cleaning products and wash the floor and all the surfaces... more

Just got back from a midweek break at Oasis Whinfell. Having been to Sherwood forest 6 times then we thought a change would be good! The park is (our opinion) better looking than Sherwood, the lodges look like proper forest homes as opposed to concrete boxes at Sherwood.
