Wow! What can we say that hasn't already been said? Thrilled with everything and when Leon produced de-caff tea for me that completely made my stay. Everything had been thought of and Leon was most attentive. Will definitely be back.

Stayed here with a number of friends during a coast to coast cycle ride .The B&B is the standard of a 4 star hotel and the breakfast was exceptional. The owner was attentive and nothing was problem including storing one bike in his kitchen as the rider has forgotten a bike lock. Cannot recommend the place enough.

Brooklands is, without a doubt, one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed at. Despite arriving at 9.30pm, Leon was there to welcome us and help us carry our bags to the room. The house is absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail sets it apart from the rest. The bedroom was not only comfortable, it had everything you... More

After four weeks travelling the U.K. this was one of the best places we stayed at. Owners so helpful and friendly. We arrived late in the afternoon, after asking local person about accommodation he recommended Brooklands Guest House. On arrival we were welcomed and shown to our rooms. The rooms were spotlessly clean and there was everything and more that... More

Like most of the reviewers on this site I can't really fault this B&B. It thoroughly deserves its 5* rating. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Debbie and Leon had anticipated everything we could possibly want - a huge variety of teas, coffee and hot chocolate; biscuits; chocolate; chilled water in the mini-fridge; two wine glasses with a bottle opener;... Great stay. Rooms were immaculate no dirt or dust and tidy. There was plenty of drinks a fridge for cold drinks and comfy beds. The breakfast was great. There was plenty of choice and enough food as I notice some dont give enough for a breakfast sometimes. The staff were welcoming but not over friendly a good balance of politness... More

Really helpful owners. When we arrived, the owner booked us a taxi for 6am Sunday to get to our triathlon. When it didn't show (which happens sometimes), he got up without being asked to help us sort it out. Lovely vintage decor in rooms and common area, and a great breakfast including fresh fruit. There's space for bikes in the... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while cycling the Coast to Coast. We cannot fault it, it was high-class and immaculate with amazing breakfasts and customer service! Our room had a lovely 4 poster and no attention to detail was spared.

Taking it steady from SE London to Scotland on holiday booked to break the journey. Parking sorted. Delightful reception with tea and handmade little cakes, room with style and 2 TVs in a sandstone Victorian villa with period features. Good bed, first rate breakfast. Advice on local restaurants from charming host. Nothing too much trouble. We're not in Penrith often... More

We recently spent 2 nights at this wonderful guest house which provides all and everything anyone could want. We were warmly welcomed by Debbie, who showed us to our room which was ready for us to occupy at 11.30. We had explained we were attending a wedding in the afternoon and would like to change before we left. Our room... More
