Everything was exactly as expected at a Travelodge; basic, efficient, comfortable and clean. The shower was hot and lovely, the bed was comfy, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had plenty of information about local dining options, which included a pub about a 2 minute drive away that served really excellent food. Perfect stop-off on our... More

Found this hotel by chance, what a value for money it was. Greeted by Lee who gave excellent customer service, he went above and beyond the normal service you get. We have stopped at this excellent Travelodge twice now and will be returning again.

I was staying with a work colleague and I lost the toss of the coin so had to stay in the pullout bed for 6 nights after doing 12 hour days of hard graft, the floor is probably more comfortable, it's as if they have forgot to put a mattress on it, my back is still sore a week later,... More

i stayed here for one night, the room was very clean and reasonably spacious. Shower was ok, but not the best. Did what I needed it to do, but seemed less water pressure than ideal. In terms of sleep- couldn't fault it. I was at the front on the first floor. It was quiet and didn't hear doors etc or... More

This Penrith Travelodge was clean and the staff professional and pleasant, however the mattress in my room was very hard and I had a disturbed sleep. The room was pleasant but there was no hairdryer, toiletries as such. An information pack would have been useful. I only stayed there one night as was running a training session close by. If... Cheap and cheerful as one would expect from the Travel Lodge. Room was upstairs in an annexe and there was no lift so we had to heave cases up steep stairs after a long journey, which we could have done without. Room was clean and comfortable and very quiet despite being on a main road and only half a mile... More

We stayed here several years ago and it was a truly awful place. What a change. New everything!. New bed, new carpets, new decoration and a new en suite. The room was spotless and quite large. The heating was on when we arrived and the new windows allowed no draughts . Reception staff were polite and efficient. There was ample... More

I was impressed with the quality of this travelodge hotel. We decided to break our journey down south and I am glad we did. The receptionist offered to phone a taxi for us when we explained our plans to eat in town. Excellent service. I had a great night's sleep, the bed was very comfy and the room decoration fresh.... Great value for a quick stop over. Very convenient location. No frills accommodation, with clean, tidy rooms. Very comfortable, generous sized bed. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Wifi free for 30 minutes.

Comfortable bed, reasonable price. Fusty smell upon entry. Although the website said that it had been recently refurbished it looked a little tired. No hairdryer in the room. Good sleep quality and helpful staff.
