Four poster bed - extremely comfortable, beautiful en-suite with stand alone bath, stunning building with lovely grounds. Stayed here on a bank holiday weekend and I think that the room price is amazing for the luxury and history of the building. Good breakfast served in the morning included in the room price or you can pay less and self cater... More

We took our friends to Barton Hall and they loved it. We received a warm welcome as always. Great rooms and comfy beds. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. We came away feeling very relaxed and look forward to our next stay. We have visited Barton Hall for many years and have never been disappointed.

As always we had a lovely stay in Barton Hall. The rooms are enormous- including the bathrooms where you can luxuriate in a deep, hot bath after a day on the fells. Our children and dogs have always been made welcome in this peaceful retreat close to Pooley Bridge.

Gorgeous house complimented by delightful owner Ailisha. Rooms good value with a very large enjoyable breakfast. Children made welcome and allowed to use the beautiful grounds for croquet games. A real Lakeland secret in Pooley Bridge.

We stayed in the Yellow Victorian room which was a very large room and really comfortable bed. Barton Hall is a beautiful peaceful place, which has wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. We shall certainly return... More

We stayed in Barton Hall as a large group - we booked out the whole place for a weekend for a birthday celebration. We were 16 adults, one 10-yr-old and one dog. What an amazing place. Our room (Pixie room I think) was beautifully decorated and furnished with a very large four poster bed, wardrobe, sink and a single bed.... More
