Just come back from a weekend staying in an original 3 bed executive lodge in the meadow view area. 1st impressions of the lodge were good,it was clean, but smelt a bit funky.Only one en-suite,the 2 bedrooms upstairs shared a bathroom which tbh had seen better days. The TVs were all out of sync, the one in the living room was really old.... We recently stayed for a large family holiday. We got an eight person lodge containing 4 rooms if you are planning to go this would be the best way to do it as it works out costing less per person if you all pay together. Our lodging was clean and comfortable. It had a lot of wildlife outside which was... More

Had a lovely family time despite weather being a bit iffy, kids really enjoyed the activities, but I did not feel any were value for money. The lodge was the same as we usually get , but it was tired , and we felt the accommodation is now below average for the price and the pool was dirty in parts.... More

This was my third trip to a Center Parcs and the first with the extended family (adults and one two year old!). We stayed in one of the New Style Woodland Lodges which was much better than the comfort lodge I had stayed in previously, nicely laid out with some good facilities. Despite the terrible weather, we had a great... More

We went to CP Whinfell for my husband's 70th on 13th May. There were 6 of us- husband, me, sister in law, daughter, son in law and 4 yr old grandson. We stayed in a new style woodland lodge ( 64 Foresters Lane) and were impressed with the en-suites and the dishwasher and the comfortable beds. However, the outside of... More

We always enjoy our Center Parcs breaks. We usually go to Sherwood but this time we decided to take the extended family to Whinfell for them to try something different. We first went years ago and pledged we would not return. However, it has improved since then. When asked our grandson, aged 5, which he preferred he said Whinfell. I... More

We visited Whinfell Forest a while ago & vowed never to go back. My son asked if we could go for half term, so I was checking out reviews to see if things have changed. Looking at some of the reviews they clearly have not, hence I decided to leave a review. On our visit the lodge was dirty when... More

This was our first trip to Center Parcs and definately not the last! We had a fabulous time and the so did the kids. All the staff were super helpful and the location of our lodge overlooking the lake was lovely. Cant wait to go again!

Third time at Whinfell Forest with the grandchildren now aged 4 and 2. Plenty to see and do without the need to spend on sometimes pricy activities. The pool area is our favorite. Restaurants cheap and cheerful and very clild friendly with quick service.

Just back from our first trip to Windfell, and we all loved it. Stayed in 17 Fell View, perhaps not the most modern house but had everything you could need. Pool area was great and we took our girls horse riding which was a big hit. We will be back.
