I was welcomed by one of the owners, Mark, who helped to carry my luggage to my room. My room was soooo very cosy. I slept really well in a spacious bed. At home I paid a few hundred pounds for a good mattress from John Lewis, well this mattress beats mine !!! Breakfast was excellent and very generous. All... More

Lovely 2 night stay at the Silverdale. Very friendly owners, nothing was a bother to them. Breakfast had a great selection with lots to eat and drink. Room very clean and tidy, lovely big white towels. Not too far from town and also parking area. Would stay again.

Stayed at the silverdale over the Easter weekend. Very friendly welcome and stayed in the family room. Single bed was in an adjoining room which my son like as he felt he was in his own room. Clean rooms. Tea tray replenished every day. Plenty on offer at Breakfast. In easy walking distance for Kestick town centre and walks.

Lovely New Year break in this B&B. Spacious room was spotlessly clean with complimentary tea and coffee, flatscreen TV and free wifi. Nice ample breakfast set us up for the day. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of Keswick. Pleasant friendly hosts and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Stayed here for three days, very central quiet location, just a few minutes walk from the town centre, excellent accommodation, very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very hospitable, nothing too much for them, always a friendly smile and chat. Breakfast was really good and plentiful, good choices and lovely coffee! Couldn't have picked a better place for a first... More

Central location, good food and cosy accommodation in our twin bedded room with a view of the mountains. Flat screen TV with freeview, so something to watch if the weather turns nasty. Off street parking a bonus too. Really relaxing stay. Recommended

Our great hosts came out to welcome us, unusually for Keswick they have off street parking and Mark helped get our 2 motorbikes in as we arrived a bit late, he even moved a car around. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Even though we were on the top floor the shower was good, excellent tea and coffee making stuff... More
