£29 for a night in a nice room with toilet and washbasin (shared shower room). Excellent breakfast, which the owner was happy to serve early. Good location, a few minutes walk from the high street but with no noise. I will be back!

I had already stayed in a cottage MON-FRI AM but wanted to stay somewhere for an extra night so I could do the Keswick parkrun on Saturday at 9am. It was very difficult to find a B&B/guest house that took bookings for a solo traveler for 1 night. That's how I ended up in this accommodation, I just needed somewhere... More

I stayed at Hunters Way in their single rooms for 3 nights. The first 2 nights I had a room with a toilet and basin and the 3rd with a basin. There was a bathroom with shower and toilet on the next floor. This was reflected in the price which was very competitive (£29 per night B&B). The owners were... More

There are no "Boutique" pretensions about Hunter's Way. This was my third stay and i'd say It's a comfortable homely B and B. Nicely looked after and run by a very pleasant couple Eric & Liz. They do a cracking breakfast, free flask fills for your walking trip. They offer a packed lunch on request for £3 a head that... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst I did some walking around the local hills. Excellently priced, central location only a few minutes walk from the shops, cinema, etc. well maintained inside, I had a single room which was warm and homely. Shared bathroom was to an excellent standard. Full breakfast was included and was spot on! Run by... More

We stayed in seven different bed and breakfasts whilst doing a long distance walk this was by far the best breakfast we had great choice and fresh fish. The room was ok but could do with updating and a deep clean. The wife was really friendly and went the extra mile, however the husband who was front of house did... More

The room was clean and comfortable. The host was really welcoming and helped to carry our suitcases up to our room. The beds were very comfortable and we had a really hearty breakfast the following morning. Talking to the host after breakfast, he recommended a short walk to Castlehead viewpoint. The view was amazing and we'd highly recommend taking the... More

Nice central location, with friendly hosts and clean warm rooms. We had a one night stay in a nice clean double room with en-suite shower, followed by a lovely home cooked breakfast before heading home.
