The service was very good and the bar staff excellent! However the "superior room" was small, the bed was uncomfortable and dipped in the middle. And the noise from the night club was awful and I normally wear 2 hearing aids and it still kept me awake!!!!

We liked the location and the room itself which was modern, clean and well equipped. However, we were really disappointed by the breakfasts - tried various combinations but it was always mediocre overall with over cooked black pudding, grilled mushrooms which had virtually shrivalled away they were so dry, no natural yoghurt and the fruit salad was tinned. Service was... More

Have now stayed 3 times this year whilst competing in 2 triathlons at keswick. Each time we have had a different room but always they have been cosy and spotlessly clean. The staff are lovely and friendly especially Dave the assistant manager, who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend a stay.

For over 20 years we have always had a cheeky few drinks in The Kings Arms and again we weren't disappointed. It has been redecorated since the last time we were in and it looks fab very impressed with the decor. The service as always was good with friendly efficient staff, we managed to get a seat by the window... More

It's hard to walk aroung Keswick looking for a bar and not come across the Kings arms Hotel. Me and the wife were spending a couple of days in the town and crossed the doorstep. Inside the atmosphere is pleasant and had a good mix of clientel. There were lots of drinks on offer, but a little pricey....even for Keswick.... More

Top notch food, whatever you choose off the menu. Lovely attentive staff and very clean. Steak has to be tasted to be believed. Homemade chocolate bread and butter pudding - WOW. So good we have been back twice and will return again.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night with our 2 dogs. We stayed in room 7 which was small but nice and spotless. All staff very friendly and helpful. Very handy gettin parking permit from hotel as car parks charges are expensive in keswick! Breakfast was ok, had fruit salad (tinned!!) selection of cereals, crossiants, yohurts and fresh fruit.... We did not stay but ate at the pub with the family and dog and the food was good and cheap. We liked it very much. It was a warm summers night and out dog and we enjoyed being outside. The staff are friendly and courteous. Many thanks.

Had two nights here - rooms recently refurbished and ok stairs up to room not easy. Further refurbishment to be done apparently. Breakfast was not too good with some parts cool and toast was not with butter. Not able to park outside as square pedestrianised and car park a 3 minute walk away at rear Overall probably would look elsewhere.
