Stayed for two nights towards end of July, Ravensworth was under temporary management as owners on holiday. Very warm welcome from "substitute manager", quickly checked in and shown room. Not recommended if you require a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Proprietors try to appear welcoming but come across as anxious and fraught. Risk getting your breakfast order wrong or forgetting your front door key at your peril - you will incur the wrath of the potentially very rude and aggressive landlady! more
