My family and I recently visited the UK and one of the highlights of our visit was a visit to the Lake District and this hidden little gem ( literally and figuratively!) made for a perfect experience. If not for the GPS or sat nav, we would have had difficulties finding this place but when we did, what an amazingly... More

Snuggled beneath Catbells in the strikingly beautiful Newlands Valley, Littletown Farm could not be located in a more picturesque location. It doesn't matter where your window is located, you are guaranteed a stunning view of hillsides, peaks and sky. The immediate surroundings are a working farm... you might have an opportunity to watch the shepherd and his dogs taking their... More

Had the most amazing weekend in Littletown. This B and B was in the perfect location for us to explore the beautiful peaks of the Newland Valley and of course Cat bells. Being able to roll out the door after a delicious full english each morning was just heaven. Rob and Sarah also made packed lunches which were delicious and... More

Just back from a wonderful weekend at Littletown Farm and felt I had to write a review to let people know just how good it is. At first you think you will never get there as the road gets more narrow and on, and on you go. Eventually you find yourself at the Farm, at the foot of Catbells and... More

Have just stayed at Littletown Farm for 2 nights; it is an excellent Guest House; The view from our room was perfect. Friendly and helpful owners, excellent rooms and excellent home cooked food. Dinner on Saturday night was Roast Lamb with vegetables accompanied by ratatouille...delicious. Great choice of very tasty desserts as well. Would have liked to have stayed longer,

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at LIttletown and we are already talking about going back. Rooms were spotless with the comfiest bed and the breakfast was amazing, we had no need to get lunch. We stayed for dinner on Saturday night and sampled the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever tasted I could have licked... More

We walked from Little Town up Cat Bells and back to Little Town -around 3 hours. So we were in need of some refreshment. My husband spotted the Tea Room AND Bar so we ventured in to the lovely farm with white washed buildings and views all around of hills. Upon viewing the menu I made the comment that it... More

My cousin who I was travelling with, calls this her favourite place to stay and I can see why. The accommodations are a perfect mix of new amenities in an old setting, the food is delicious and Sarah and Rob are wonderful hosts. The tearoom is very well attended as many day walkers come by the farm. Would absolutely stay... More

We stayed for one night in June 2014 and wished we had been before. In the middle of nowhere but with mountains all around - Cat Bells just a few yards across the road and a view of Causey Pike from our window. Our room was small(ish) but comfortable and very clean. Very quiet at night as you might expect... More

Great location for walking and enjoying the central lakedisctrict. Quiet, clean and welcoming. Great cooking "take dinner in one evening if offered ..... you won't regret it." Felt like alot of work had been done to provide this nice environment to stay in while appriciating the Cumbria. We had a great time there.........Thanks
