This was by far the best B&B I have ever stayed at and would not hesitate to return again. From the hospitality we received from our lovely hosts upon arrival to the most picturesque views that you could wake to see in the morning, I cannot praise this B&B enough to do it justice. Located at the foot of the... More

We stayed in July 2015. On arrival we were treated to tea and scones with clotted cream which was a nice touch after a long journey. The room was on the smaller side, but spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable with tea. Lovely Christy towels. Breakfast included a range of locally produced foods. We were there for one... More

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in July. Wow - what a setting complete with a quirky Jack Russell!! The rooms were petite but very comfortable. We were lucky enough to sample the food on Saturday. It was delicious homely food, perfect for after a day's walking. There is a bar there and my partner loved the... More

Stayed here for three nights. Great location. Rooms were basic and scrupulously clean. Breakfast was tasty and the owners were delightful. It is located on a narrow single track road so be mindful of this when travelling. Several walks available from the farm itself. Plenty of parking. Towels provided. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I stayed at this fantastic farm guest house, the location is stunning, but also the couple who run it are so hospitable from the start, a lovely welcome by Rob who offered us a coffee which was greatly appreciated after long journey, but not only coffee we were given a homemade cake freshly made by Sarah. We... More

My wife and I stayed here with her parents for a couple of nights at the end of May. This is a top notch B+B. The rooms are nothing special, but they were spotlessly clean, exactly as advertised, with a VERY comfortable bed (and a stunning view of the farm and hills from the out the window). The atmosphere is... More

This was the first time I had stayed here, as a single traveller and I thought the whole experience was brilliant. Easy off road parking, lots of information and leaflets on what to see and do, plenty of magazines of Lake District walks and then if that isn't enough, the owners, who are very friendly have abundance more information and... We booked last minute expecting a basic guesthouse but were pleased to find that the accommodation was good value, no tv in the room but everything we needed for our short stay. Mind the narrow roads. Quiet and landscape to gaze at. Good breakfast too, we'll use again.

We spent a long weekend here and just managed to bag the last two rooms at a bargain rate. The house is nicely tucked away, off the beaten track but within a stones throw of some beautiful walks. It has spectacular mountain views and has plenty of parking plus a garden and play area (secure) for children. The house itself... More
