We have just arrived back after yet another fantastic stay at Burns Farm. The site is in one of the most beautiful settings in the Lake District and our favourite of all Caravan/Camp sites (stayed at almost all within the Lake District over the last few years). Linda and Family are lovely and always make us very welcome. Shower/toilet blocks... More

Stayed here for two nights, there was plenty of room you weren't sat on top of each other like on some sites, the toilet and shower block were immaculate never seen one as clean on a campsite!! Will certainly stay again x

We are just back from our second visit of the year to Burns Farm, a site we discovered by accident twenty years ago and have been going back to ever since. The views from the site are spectacular and something we never tire of. Over the last twenty years we have got to know the family who own the farm... More

Stayed this weekend, offering support to a brave K2B walker, 40 miles in total. Recieved very warm welcome on reception and directed to a nice flat pitch on a quieter part of the site. Shower block and washing up area both had lots of space and most importantly lots of hot water. Nice mix of people on the site, but... More

We stayed at Burns farm last weekend (Bank Holiday) and had a lovely weekend. The site is well maintained with good facilities. Linda and her family are friendly and helpful, obviously working hard to provide a great place to stay with the most beautiful views. It is ideally situated and we will come back again. People need to understand that... More

The previous review describing the camp as awful is total and utter lies and if you value a great camping trip, in a lovely setting and with great facilities then this camp site is for you. It was my first camping trip and I was slightly apprehensive, but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The camp was lovely, the... More

Such rude staff! Went for bank holiday weekend & from start to finish experienced the staff being so rude to campers. We were up early but heard the owner going round waking people up at 8am on sunday to check they had paid! If you are after a nice peaceful break then this is not the place! Left us feeling... More

We stayed here over the Bank Holiday Weekend. The site is surrounded by beautiful views of the surrounding fells and being only a couple of miles from Keswick is an ideal base for exploring the Lakes. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners and throughout our stay Linda and her Family were very helpful and always made... More

We stayed this week with family and friends, we were expecting it to be remote, and it certainly is, but that was not the issue we had, the issues we had was that the water was freezing cold for showers every at any time, basically they crammed that many people onto the field (non electric) that they could not accommodate...
