Yet another amazing weekend spent at Pitcairn House in Keswick. As always Steve & Heather were very welcoming. Lovely clean room, friendly atmosphere, tasty breakfast, oh and not to forget Steve's delicious homemade flap jack that kept us going throughout our 7 hour hill walk...once again an all round delightful stay! We would recommend Pitcairn House to anybody visiting Keswick... More

We can't recommend Pitcairn House highly enough. We've just returned from yet another stay there and once again it was fantastic. Heather and Steve are the perfect hosts! The breakfast is lovely, the rooms are spotless and the location is perfect for either a leisurely stroll round Keswick or to go off walking for the day. And Steve and Heather... More

Heather and Steve make you feel right at home and part of the family. We've stayed a few times and all the rooms we've stayed in are clean and cosy. The cooked breakfast is excellent and sets you up for the day whatever you have planned. You are only five minutes walk from the centre of town. We would highly... More

My husband and I recently returned to Keswick after 5 year absence and were pleased to get one of the last rooms at Pitcairn bed and breakfast. Beautiful, cosy room in the eaves with a view across the rooftops to the gorgeous hills and mountains of the Lakes. After perfect full English, then fresh strawberries, persimmon fruit and yoghurt and... More

The owners, Heather and Steve, really nice couple, made our group of guys feel welcome. Dried our stuff out when we got drenched and generally made our stay like a home from home. Recommended and we will be back for more lakeland weather :)

A chance last minute phone call got us the only remaining room in Pitcairn House. Although the last, and what the owners called the 'smallest' room, it did not disappoint. A clean and cosy double with an en-suite was all that we needed for our brief stay in Keswick. The owners were kind enough to send a text on the... More

I don't often leave reviews on TripAdvisor but feel compelled to do so on this occasion. We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the landlady and shown to our room which was absolutely immaculate. In fact, as it transpired, the whole place is spotless. A hearty breakfast was served with plenty of options for a full english,... More

A lovely B&B in Keswick where we were made to feel very welcome. We opted for the larger double room and it was well worth the extra cost, lots of space and very comfortable. The choice of breakfast each day was extensive with something to suit everyone and beautifully cooked. Heather & Steve provided a first class drying service which... More

Living in this area of the Lake District we do experience perhaps more than our fair share of wet weather and many of our guests have found our drying room to be invaluable. It is great for us to know that you started each day warm and dry and could enjoy a good walk without the worry of what to... More

A three night stay at Pitcairn House for my brother in law and I. Our first stay here and hopefully not our last. A lovely B&B, really relaxed and friendly. Heather and Steve were welcoming and made us feel at home. Big thanks from two fellow bikers. Cheers!

Thanks Tom, So pleased you both enjoyed your stay with us and always a pleasure to welcome fellow motorcyclist into our home. The weather for the time of year was quite kind to you as certainly turned cold over the last week so looks like you picked the right time to come. Perhaps the next time you visit on the... More
