the guesthouse is very lovely situated 5 minutes from the Keswick town center and just near the river and the park. The room was homy, clean and comfortable and even included some biscuits, marshmallows, water and hot drinks. Tracey and Andrew were very friendly and helpful both with the accommodation and with getting around guidance and provided fantastic breakfasts and... More

Another excellent stay at Beckside. Room spotless, lovely modern decor, quiet but central, easy to park close by, fantastic breakfast, relaxed atmosphere and Tracey is everything you could hope for in a host. Will be back yet again!

We stayed 4 nights in August. I normally don't like b&bs but after staying here I am converted. The room was impeccable - clean, bright, well furnished and lots of great little touches. The food was incredible with a massive selection of fresh fruit, which is always a rarity. The cooked breakfast was also superb. I would definitely come back... More

Stayed a short while ago and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this guesthouse. Tracey was a very welcoming and helpful host, who made us feel at home straight away. We had a lovely spotlessly clean modern en suite room which had a very comfy bed. In the morning, there was an outstanding choice of fresh fruit at breakfast alongside a very tasty... More

Myself and husband came to Keswick in the hope that we would get a guesthouse in August school holidays. How wrong we were. Forgot it was the school holidays. We drove around and decided that i didnt like the look of any of the hotels or some guesthouses in Keswick. We then drove down a little backstreet (off the beaten... More

This is a lovely little guesthouse in a great position in Keswick. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable and even include a pot of marshmallows to go with the hot chocolate on the generous tea tray in the bedrooms. Tracey and Andrew go out of their way to be helpful and provide fantastic breakfasts and advice about places... More

In Keswick, north Lakes district,we liked the location, away from the crowded southern Lakes District, this guesthouse is just walking distance to cafes and shops and town center. The beautiful Derwent waterway and forest walks are not far and a perfect way to relax on a Summer evening. Our hosts at Beckside ,Andrew and Tracey were welcoming and helpful and a lot of thought has... Thank you so much for your wonderful review, and it was a pleasure to meet you both and we hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday. In reference to the room being small, we are a Victorian terraced house and the room size reflects this and especially being en suite, we do not advertise on our website anything that... More

Having stayed with Tracey and Andrew in 2013 for a week, we decided to make it two weeks in 2014. Tracey and her husband have got to be the perfect hosts; absolutely NOTHING is too much trouble; they go way beyond what you expect from a B&B. The accommodation is 'home from home' - beautiful decor and the breakfasts are... More

You can believe all the great reviews for Tracey and Andrew's memorable home/ B&B. Tracey is the epitome of the helpful, friendly and caring hostess. The location is ideal and the rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfasts are superb. Our favorite stay in all of England. Don't hesitate.
