Have nothing but praise for this superb hotel the staff (although obviously very busy)found time to see to our every need, the rooms were clean and airy and the food excellent. I must admit the dogs were a bit off putting but in no way were they intimidating, quite the opposite in fact. more
Even with the 1st bad review this hotel got i decided to try it my self and i have never been happier, i work for a big hotel chain and this is by far one of the cleanest and friendliest hotels iv'e ever stayed in i would recommend it to anyone, i managed to catch the landlord (andy) during one... more
Do not book this hotel, staff were extremely unpleasant and unhelpful, dirty linen, television did not work, bathroom located away from the room, dogs were allowed to roam in the room were food was served these are large dogs and were extremely intimidating!!! Avoid at all costs more
Very clean rooms, served a nice pint, great location in the heart of Kendal more
