Have stayed here a few times because it is right next door to our friends house. It really could do with a bit of plastering and general decoration. The bathrooms could do with modernisation.The walls pretty much held together with woodchip wallpaper. The floors slope quite badly and there are some low parts to the rooms that you easily scuff... more

This hotel is ideally located for the centre of Kendal. The rooms are immaculate and the breakfasts too die for,sets you up nicely for your day ahead. Overall very good value for money. They also take larger parties ie groups of walkers or as we were a touring squash club every one said they could not fault the hotel or... more

Small cottage like hotel, staff were very friendly and professional, all the rooms were en-suite and very very clean. We had TV, a small kettle and a hair dryer in every room. breakfast was delicious. it was located in a perfect area of the city centre, very quite. free parking. suitable price. more
