A small hotel set off the road with beautiful gardens. The owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the feel of the place was comfortable and relaxing

not nice approach to hotel. nice building. ok staff. rooms public and bedrooms leave a lot to be desired. needs a new bathroom and matresses. breakfast ok although cheapest products used. would not stay again, plenty or other sot choose from.

great little 2 star of hotel, loads of character and great gardens. only 10-15 mins leisurly walk to town centre yet in a country huose type setting. great friendly reception and staff , great food, would defo eat here again.

Our room at the Garden House was really quite basic, with a very peculiarly designed bathroom. But the very warm reception, good dinner and friendly bar staff made it a pleasant stay for our party. Note, though, that the hotel is a little way from the town centre.
