This is a charming old English cottage. The location is ideal for looking around the lake district and also for Beatrix Potter enthusiasts. The lounge area downstairs had lovely comfortable chairs in which to sit in front of an open fireplace. I believe they also did afternoon teas there but we were never there at that time. This Bed and Breakfast is in an amazing location. If you are visiting Beatrix Potter sites this is the place to stay. The property is directly adjacent to the ticket office for her "Hill Top" home.
