Staying at the Moss Grove was an overall pleasant experience. The location is fantastic: right in the middle of Grasmere, making it very central for walks, bars, and shops. The hotel is rated against bed and breakfast rather than hotel benchmarks and as such you do need to bear that in mind in terms of the facilities you are likely to get. I cannot believe some of the reviews, what do people expect??? You can't use shampoo etc in the spa bath, well, would you put bubble bath in a jacuzzi, well not unless you were completely stupid you wouldn't.
