We have stayed with the Owners Rob and Anton at a previous hotel that they owned until a couple of years ago, and are delighted to find that this one is even better than the previous one. Staff are well trained and friendly and generally nothing is too much trouble. Anton who runs the kitchen is an excellent chef

Very impressed, the owners and staff are extremely obliging, nothing is too much trouble, the food - excellent choice and quality. The rooms were very clean - recently refurbished. We would recommend this hotel as a base in Grasmere.

We spent 5 nights at the Grasmere hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it as an all round excellent choice. Well appointed bedroom, beautifully decorated with great bathroom. The food was fantastic with faultless presentation. The Grasmere Hotel is very efficiently and professionally managed, but still maintains a friendly personal welcome. We would definitely like to go again.

This freshly revamped hotel was a total treat. I dont usually sleep at all well in hotels but had 2 nights gorgoeus sleep as the bed was so comfy.
