We had been recommended The Grasmere Hotel and it lived up to expectations! Everyone was very friendly, the owners very attentive and the food excellent. I am writing this review because I think some of the other reviews are more subjective than objective and their enthusiasm needs tempering a little. If you are seeking a holiday in Lakeland, this hotel is a little gem.
