Silver Lea is situated on a quiet road with lovely views. It is two minutes walk from the centre of Grasmere.

On telephoning the Guest House direct, I spoke to the lady owner who was extremely friendly. The owners were also very welcoming when my husband arrived.

He stayed at Silver Lea for just one night and really enjoyed his stay. The suite he stayed in was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable with en-suite facilities and a small separate area with chairs and a tv. Toiletries were also supplied.

Breakfast was also very nice. Porridge, cereals etc., and a cooked breakfast.

The next time we are visiting the Lake District we will certainly stay at Silver Lea. more
