Warm and friendly reception from the manager John. He and his staff continued to look after our every need throughout our stay. Excellent breakfast and dinner, and good packed lunch choices. Sadly we did not have time to explore the beautiful gardens and park (we were walking a long-distance trail), but wehope to return some day. More

We stayed at Monk Coniston for a 'long' weekend. Lovely location overlooking Coniston Water. Rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was a cold buffet, with hot dishes to order. We also stayed for dinner one night, and the food was excellent, and above average quality and presentation. Property was a country estate, with no parking problems. We would stay again. More
