I recently stayed at Yew Tree Farm, i expected such a pleasant time as i had stayed before. Yet i was wrong as last time i stayed it was such a peaceful place somewhere where you could relax and kick back. We have just arrived back from a short break at Yew Tree Farm. Yes, it rained, this is Cumbria, but Jon and Caroline are such nice hosts it did not matter. After a days walking,arriving back at Yew Tree for tea was a real treat. The place has great character.It has its quirks,creaky floors and head bumping beams, but after... more

A superb B&B - probably beats most of the hotels in the area. Lovely room and bathroom, great breakfast and very friendly host. A very enjoyable stay. Will definitely be back more

We would really like to keep this place a secret but that would be selfish. This is a must for any body who wants something special.The place is full of character and warmth.
