For a guest house this is a lovely place to stay. It was very easy to find at the edge of the village, with a large parking area. It is a short walk away from the centre of the village, about a 10 minute walk from the lake and easy to use as a base for walking in the hills and mountains.
The owners were lovely people who made us feel very welcome,letting us borrow their kitchen to make sandwiches in and even finding out the football results for us when we were out walking in the hills. The room was fairly spacious with a shower and sink in the room and a loo and bath across the corridor. All were very clean. There was even a front entrance porch to leave muddy boots in. We were given our own front door key so we could get in after sampling the local beer in the pub down the road! The breakfasts were entirely vegetarian and very delicious with a choice of cereal, a main cooked bit, juice, coffee or tea and toast - a great start to a busy day.
