There were difficulties in every aspect of my stay. On arrival the new receptionist was poorly informed - presumably because of inadequate training. For £65 a room I expect more. We stayed at this hotel for one night on our trip to Lake District and Scotland. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was specious and clean. This Travellodge is on the outskirts of Cockermouth and the views over the mountains were great. Plenty of parking spaces. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. more
