We paid £36.00 for a family room for one night. The room was big, the beds comfortable and all in all, it was spotlessly clean. We didn't venture into the public areas as it was a very short trip for us but from what I saw, there was everything you'd need - coffee, snacks and a breakfast room. Would definitely... More

Booked as we needed just a base for the night. Hotel was clean fresh and welcoming easy to find and good value. We didn't eat in the Hotel so cannot comment on catering but we will certainly use this travel lodge again.

Lack of staff at reception and other area's. Lack of bathroom amenities. Very little or no information on local area. No bedside table or cabinet had to use chair for such and it was curved rather than flat.

This is a great Travelodge. Staff are very friendly, welcoming, professional and nothing is too much trouble. My room was very clean with a comfortable king size bed. There is free parking outside, albeit limited, but there was ample room when I stayed. I didn't stay for the breakfast but had a meal in the evening which was lovely. Highly... More

A quiet stay, though thin walls, noise from other guests. The approach to hotel was rather dingy looking, very poorly maintained exterior paintwork and rubbish in the car park. We had a room facing away from the road, though it's on a quiet residential area.

Me Hubby and our dog Dexter stayed at cockermouth Travelodge for 2 nights commencing 1st January 2016. On check in the 2 young male staff were very pleasant and welcoming. They made a fuss of our dog checked in quickly and smoothly. They explained the restaurant opening times and meal deals. Room clean and comfy. Housekeeping staff helpfull. Very warm... More

Rooms were adequate. Comfy bed and quiet hotel. Great location. Pleasant staff. The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of free parking. 15 minute walk into Cockermouth. Would recommend d definitely. There was a bar but we didn't use it. Looked ok though.

Great location but not as refurbished as expected. New beds in the room and coat of paint but bathroom was still a bit dated and grotty. Key cards didn't work on 2nd and 3rd night, reception told us that sometimes the cleaners deactivate the cards! Half eaten meals left outside rooms on the floor at 10pm. Parking spaces right up... We stayed at the Travelodge Cockermouth on the 19th of December. The hotel staff were friendly but the guy on reception during check in told us we had to check out and back in because we had booked our 2nd night on a different reservation because we were originally staying one night. The hotel is nice and comfortable but some... More
