Had 2 nights at this first class bed and breakfast. Great location for exploring the lakes. Accommodation & breakfast exceptional. Sue and Bev are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.

Had three nights at this luxurious bed and breakfast. Everything was great - rooms, beds, breakfasts - and Sue and Bev were so welcoming and kind. Very near the river for short local walks and just within sight of the fells. Excellent.

We have just spent 2 nights here with Sue and Bev and have had a really nice time. We (and our little dog) felt very welcome from the moment we arrived and would definitely go back again. The location is superb. Close enough to everything but also away from all of the thousands of tourists. The food here is amazing.... More

This must be our 4th stay with Sue and Bev, even after missing last years trip, it was just like revisiting old friends. Warm welcome, comfortable room overlooking a stunning garden. We opted for an evening meal, [so much more convenient after walking round Wool Fest all day.] As usual the food was wonderful, you really and truly could not... More

Amazing stay, shop and park all close by. Warm welcoming and heart warming owners Although we spent our time visiting the whole lake district. We selected 2 b&b's and we looked at the pictures and this one looked 100% better .but it is a good hotel

We cannot recommend highly enough. Sue and Bev were perfect hosts. Very warm and welcoming. Excellent facilities, food, location and hosts. So generous. We could live here forever, growing old and eating amazing food - Sue really is an amazing chef, and as Bev has walked all the fells he is an expert when seeking any advice about the area.... More

What a great welcome from Sue a Bev when we arrived. This unique old house has been very well maintained and is in a very quiet location. Spacious rooms and an excellent breakfast with a great choice and as much as you could eat. Our three night stay was not long enough as we were made to feel as if... More
