Orchard House B&B is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Lake District area. It is in Embleton, small town close to Cockermouth. Our only regret was that we were only there for 1 night. The owners, Dave and Barbara, were wonderful and breakfast was delicious! There is a nice pub down the street with great dinners. The view from the breakfast room and front of house is amazing and the back of the house has a wonderful garden as well.
If you are headed to the norther Lake District area, the Orchard House is a wonderful place to stay! more
