Plus: good location, good room, good breakfast, very helpful host, parking pass for main car parks Minus : on main through road (A591) so would get a back bedroom during peak season; overbath shower hose only (no shower screen or means of holding shower head up) more

Just returned from a 3 night New Year break at the Lattendales Guest House in Ambleside and had a great time.
