We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Easedale Lodge. As always, Sarah & Dave made us feel very welcome & even upgraded our room on arrival! Great location, fabulous breakfast, friendly owners & an immaculately clean b&b. Can't wait for our next visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at Easdale Lodge. It is a lovely B&B, spotlessly clean throughout. We had a very warm welcome from Sarah and our room, which overlooked the park and Loughrigg, was perfect. The full English breakfast was among the best we've had! Great location with easy access to various walks, cafés, shops and restaurants. We've admired... More

I booked this place last minute and also on a bit of a budget and in all honesty wasn't really expecting much. However I was really very pleasantly surprised! Easdale Lodge is situated right in the centre of Ambleside (perfect place for starting/finishing walks, eating out, etc). Even though right near the centre, the room was very quiet - so... More

Had a lovely couple of days at Easedale Lodge. Made to feel welcome and given great advice about local attractions. The room was beautiful, comfortable and spotless. At breakfast you have an amazing choice. The home made muesli and yogurt is delicious. On site parking is a bonus. Will definitely return in the future.

We were given this break at Easedale Lodge as a Christmas present from our 'grown up' children ! We had never been to 'the Lake District ' before, so we arrived not knowing the area or accommodation! We were not disappointed by either. Easedale Lodge is a beautiful ,well run & presented B&b . The owners, Dave & Sarah are... More

We booked the Easedale Lodge at the last minute. Booking online worked well and was delighted to find a beautifully presented and maintained B & B on arrival, situated two minutes walk for the centre of Ambleside. Sarah and Dave were very welcoming and full of good advise about places to eat in town and provide a great breakfast. As... More

I last stayed here in 2011,since when it has changed owner, but the quality of service and accommodation is still high. If you want large rooms, this isn't your place, but if you want top rate furnishings, prime location, and a great breakfast, with personable and interested proprietors, then it is.

After a 2 hour journey we eventually arrived at ease dale with a warm welcome from Dave and Sarah who are very friendly, the room was good (but will stay again with an en-suite). To be honest when you stay in a b&b its a room with a bed and that's all we care about. Come morning breakfast was served... More
