We stayed at Easedale Lodge for 3 nights over August bank holiday. Even when we turned up early, Sarah gave us a lovely welcome and showed us to our room. The B&B was clean, quiet and very well looked after. Location's perfect for exploring Ambleside and the wider area and we didn't get too many funny looks when carting filthy... More

We were very impressed by the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor, and accordingly were looking forward to our stay at Easedale. To cut a long story short: our ten days in the Lake District were absolutely and unequivocally wonderful, and the B&B played no small role in that. Sarah greeted us as soon as we arrived, and offered to help us... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights after our wedding. The B&B was easy to find and in a good location near the centre of Ambleside and an easy 10 minute walk to Lake Windermere. Our room was on the second floor and had a nice view out over a park and with hills in the background. The... More

We stayed for a couple of nights during the spring. The property is well kept and amazingly clean and well kept. The room was small but well appointed and the cupboards were big enough to store a medium size suitcase which was great as it negated having to play a game of Tetris. For us the only downside was the... More

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Great location in the heart of Ambleside. Sarah and Dave were very welcoming and couldn't have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Dave offered to drive my car to their additional secure car park (he's fully insured) and carried our luggage in from the car and delivered the... More

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Easedale which was a delightful experience. Our room was well appointed, spotlessly clean and breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. The location was perfect, within a few minutes walk of Ambleside centre whilst overlooking the Park. Sarah and Dave are the perfect hosts, very kind and welcoming. They provided... More

Very impressed with the overall stay and what this small but personal B and B has to offer. Great welcome from Sarah and Dave. Warm, friendly and very informative about walks and restaurants. The decor is excellent and artistic with some lovely touches throughout. Front room inviting and the complimentary sherry a nice touch. We took the top floor room... More

I booked this guest house after reading several reviews and also with it having availability for my chosen dates. I must say that it was a lucky find. The location is situated on a fairly busy road right in the town centre. But the noise of the traffic was not excessive despite our stay being at the start of a... More

The reviews for this wonderful house speak for themselves. Having spent the last four years travelling around Scotland and always looking for quality accommodation, I did the same when visiting the Lake District. This is not a B & B, it is home. You feel you are at home, the welcome from Sarah and Dave is second to none. Despite... More
