Just returned from a 4 night break, this was our second stay at this Hotel. We stopped in Room 14, one of the garden rooms and found the room to be superb. It is probably the largest of the rooms but is furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The Bathroom is detached and has a large double ended... More

We've just spent a weekend at the Fisherbeck Hotel and stayed in room 10 (one of the garden rooms). The room was large with lovely furnishings, a very comfy bed, two chairs and a super bathroom with both a walk in shower and bath. The bed linen and towels were good quality as were the complimentary toiletries. As well as... More

We stayed in room 2 which had a balcony, super king bed and a spa bath, well worth paying extra for! Rooms are decorated to a high standard. Thoughtful touches in rooms such as extensive range of toiletries, plenty of info on the area, tea/coffee, bottled water, wifi, and a small bottle of bubbly in the room! Rooms were spotlessly... Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in Room 4, a balcony room with great views of the fells. A great find, just a 5 minute walk from the town centre. Check in with a receptionist called Rachel who was very friendly and chatty. The room itself was quite small, but really clean and decorated to a high standard. A... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in August in one of the garden rooms with my partner and our little one. The room was spacious and had plenty of room for a travel cot in the corner. The room had the usual amenities and a very large, well equipped bathroom. Breakfast was served in the main house and was very tasty,... More

Everything about this hotel is done well. We stayed in room 6 which is a loft room to the rear of the property. The power shower delivers a fantastic showering experience despite the room being at the top of the building. Everything looks newly decorated and is in excellent condition. Little details have been thought through, for example the mirror... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early October in room 2, which was a front-facing room with a private balcony. The room was very comfortable and clean as was the rest of the hotel. We were offered a complimentary coffee on arrival which was nice. The two course breakfast was excellent. Service was speedy and the food was well cooked... More

We've just returned from a two night stay at The Fisherbeck. We had received a voucher from some close friends as a wedding gift in June. What a lovely place. We stayed in room 6 on the top floor. Perfect for the two of us, warning though that there is no view from the rear of the property, but apart... More

Just returned from a three night stay at The Fisherbeck. Lovely, clean, friendly hotel. Breakfast was just as previous reviews have stated, excellent! They set us up for a day of walking in the mountains! We stayed in Room 1 which was at the rear of the hotel. Room was small and comfortable. Only one niggle if you like to... More

Once again we have to thank everyone at The Fisherbeck for their kind hospitality during our recent visit. This time we were lucky to have a room with balcony and Fell views which was terrific and the breakfast was out of this world. Thank you everyone for your attention to detail.
