We have just returned from 5 days at the Broadview Guest house and have to say how much we enjoyed our stay. Our room (Troutbeck) was small but it was quiet and had lots of little extras eg bathrobes, a small fridge, corkscrew, wine glasses and mints every evening. We have stayed at Broadview for 4 nights in June. The B&B is very nice and cozy. We were won over from the first day by the hospitality of the owner, Alan, who made us feel at home immediately and has been very helpful and efficient. The rooms (at least the one we have stayed in) are quite small though.... more
