We stayed here mid september for Matt and Lindsay's wedding. Upon arrival the hotel is very impressve in an amazing location. Staff helpful and the rooms are nice. Comfy big beds and great bathroom. We recently stayed at the Langdale Hotel and had a truly wonderful time there. The bedrooms were lovely, really nicely decorated. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food at Purdeys restaurant was delicious! We also loved all the facilities at the hotel - of which there were many! Memorable for excellent service, good facilities, delicious and abundant food, dribbling shower and decent beer. You'd struggle to find anywhere dearer, but it's a tight ship, no doubt. Spa building strangely reminiscent of Royal Festival Hall. more

Stayed here for 1 night on the spa relaxation break which included a stay in a Langdale signiture room, breakfast, lunch and allocation towards dinner. Booked on the basis of prior good reviews plus it had a spa (essential criteria for the other half for this break!).
