ยฃ50 for bed breakfast and evening meal until 20th December. Good good wholesome quality with choices. Mulled cider in the cosy Talbot bar. Staff extremely helpful. May want to take own pillow as theirs can be hard. But this was the only downside. Dogs are welcome but as a none dog owner, their presence was not felt until you saw... More

We stopped for a quick bite at lunch time. We were very warmly welcomed by the barman, the food was nicely presented, the portions generous and served promptly, but it was just run of the mill pub grub. Toilets very clean. We won,t be rushing back.

My friend and I stayed at Skelwith Bridge a couple of weekends ago. There are so many great things to say about this hotel. Firstly the staff could not be more friendly and obliging - absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Secondly the rooms are immaculate. The hotel has single ensuite rooms and it was so brilliant not having to... More

One night - Dinner, Bed & Breakfast - Excellent food and service. So enjoyed meeting the locals and their dogs in the bar in the evening. Bar service excellent and a good range of draught beers - made such a refreshing change from the wilds of Wyoming.

Stayed here 2 nights with 3 sons and families - 8 adults and 4 children. Good standard of rooms, lovely staff and great food. Very welcoming and relaxing. Only one little point, windows could do with roller blinds to make more sleep friendly as a couple of rooms had external lights shining.in during night.

We were staying in a cottage in Skelwith Bridge. It was my birthday and decided to go to the Talbot bar in the Skelwith Bridge hotel, the bar person whose name was Martin was very friendly, funny and helpful. We had an excellent meal and would recommend the bar to anyone. Before we came away at the weekend we decided... More

We were really happy. We had a downstairs room so had easy access for the dog. Many other dogs staying so everyone friendly! Staff were lovely not stuffy but friendly, polite and efficient. The upgrade package included a bottle of prosecco, strawberries & shortbread..........all beautiful! Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Super breakfast, with good variety. Dinner menu changed totally each night... More
