Been here loads of times for numerous reasons. Just spent new year 2015 there. Lovely, relaxed and consistent. Love the fact it's an original, quirky farmhouse and clearly a family home. Vicki is a hoot and what you see is what you get. No stress and beautiful views. The best breakfasts and the most amazing tomatoes :) My family and... More

Second time I have stayed at Robinson Place. The first time as stop 3 on the Cumbria Way, for which Robinson Place is a perfect stop point, and the second this year with my son for a few days of walking in the central Lakes. Arguably one of the best views in the country, with optimum panorama of the Langdales... More

Stayed for 3 nights in this 'oldie-worldy' farm house. A large, solid farm house with a warming fire in the communal lounge and clean throughout. The beds were very comfy with pocket sprung mattresses (its very rare that we find this as we usually miss our memory foam mattress). A cot was set up for our 2 year old at... More

We knew Lake District was beautiful but nothing prepared us for the view from Robinson's Place Farm front door. The valley is so pretty but the mountains are wild and this B&B sits between. Vicky was funny, helpful, down to earth and gave us great advice about where we might go according to the weather on the day. One day... More

I've been going here for years. Vicky is extremely friendly and always happy to see us, either as a group of lads who drink ale or as a family who are there to enjoy the hills. Best breakfast I've had in ages. Outstanding location. Highly recommended. Dan.

My second visit to Vicky at Robinson Place Farm. Outstanding accommodation in a wonderful setting. It is unlikely you will find a b&b with better views from your bedroom. No tv, no internet reception, just the sights and sounds of the real Lake District. Vicky is the most welcoming host and her breakfasts are just what is needed if you... More

My husband,Éamonn and myself have been coming to stay at Robinson Place for many years, and if for some reason there is a year when we are not able to make it, we always feel that something is missing from the year. We lived for many years in Morecambe and visited the Lake District many times. Now it is well... More

We recently stayed at Robinson's place it is what it is an amazing original farm and Vicky was very welcoming and kind and cooked a mean breakfast which definitely sets you up for the day. After the initial shock our 17 year old son appreciated the lack of TV, mobile phone or internet reception and actually bought a magazine to... More

My wife and I have been coming here for 7 years. We've separately brought the kids, and even the sister-in-law. First and foremost - for anyone coming to Langdale, whether it's for walking, cycling, birdwatching or any other outdoor theme you might mention, then consider your options in this most expensive end of the Lakes. We've previously enjoyed the facilities... More

My partner and I stayed here whilst visiting the Lakes birdwatching. The building is a lovely old farmhouse and the view out of our window across the fells was incredible. The decor in the room we stayed in was a bit tired looking and could really do with updating. The great features of this lovely building were slightly lost beneath... More
