Upon arrival we were advised we had already been told a room change would be required mid stay. We had not. Just returned from a weekend here and were very impressed with the hotel and facilities, our room was well appointed and very comfortable and the food was great too - will definitly be back again some time.

Thank you for a wonderful three day break. The staff were so friendly & helpful, the food excellent and the bedrooms so comfortable and cosy, a truly enjoyable holiday in a fantastic area of the Lakes. Hope your Charity Lunch went well.

Have stayed in NDG a number of times over the past 5 years and watched the hotel steadily upgraded but has not lost the homely feeling. Great place to stay. I stayed with 2 friends and we had an amazing time. The location for hiking could not be better. Hotel is great, it's clean, comfy beds and modern bathrooms. Brilliant value. Food is great, service is brilliant. We will stay again. Also, pub next door for a change.

We were here for a family party (all adults) last weekend, 12 of us being a bit demanding and we had a fabulous time. Shower goes from -10 to 100 degrees!!!!! Skin remover .We where 10 minutes late for breakfast. Yes WE where late but after 10 min of trying to find staff who where chatting in the back room, we where told there was nothing available until lunch, bearing in mind we where in the langdale valley and no other options for food...
