The Rooms at Apple Pie and The Cafe cannot be faulted in any way. Great location, spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. 10% at Cafe next door (which is also dog-friendly) We will definately stay here again. All staff welcoming and helpful, Off road parking in small forecourt to the rooms.

This little gem cannot be faulted in any way. Great location, very clean and great value. It is room only but it has its own cafe next door which is also superb and you receive a small discount on food for staying in their rooms. This will always be my first choice for somewhere to stay in Ambleside.

Lovely room, ideal location, sensibly priced. Quite small but drying room makes up for it. Will come again.

Easy to find, rooms plesant and clean. Decided to parking in public carpark because from the hotel carpark you have to reverse onto a main road. Did't see any staff but booking process simple and hassle free.

My family and I stayed at the Apple Pie over Easter and cannot recommend it highly enough. Centrally located but not noisy, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well presented with comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower. Will definitely return. PS - The bakery/cafe next door was even better!

the bedroom was very small, we could not have stayed there for more than a couple of nights, the room was very well presented. the staff were responsive
