I've stayed in a lot of B & B's over the years but this is one of the cleanness ones . The owners Helen and Arthur are lovely hosts, very helpful. more
Our room was on the small side which we were told about before hand and this was reflected in the price of our stay, non the less the room was also adequate for our stay as we were hardly there. We have stayed at lots of B&Bs in the Ambleside area, and this is one of our favourites. Ideally located just a 5 min walk from the town, just passed the house on the bridge, you can leave the car and do everything by foot. This guest house has its own car parking (something of a rarity in the area)... more
