We stayed in the Moss Eccles cabin recently and had a wonderful time. It's located at the top of the site so the outside seating area gets lots of sun. Access is fine, parking is right outside. The cabin was excellently equipped and very clean, the owners had also left us a lovely welcome gift. The cabin also had it's... More

unfortunately i couldnt find the origional trip advisor page for badgers walk, however its situated in the same area and owned by the same person. I suprised my partner to three nights(4days) in ambleside. We both were over the moon when we arrived at the beautiful floor apartment situated in neums crag. facilities were excellent and very clean. loved the... More

The saying goes 'location, location, location,' and I have to say that this cabin is in an excellent location. It is set on the Neaum Crag estate and is the first cabin you come to set up quite a steep slope. This does become slippery when covered in leaves and soaking wet so care is needed on the approach. The... More

Neaum Crag is situated perfectly for exploring the lakes and is a lovely wooded site. We have previously stayed in a smaller cabin (Crinkle Crags, booked through Lake Lovers, which was great.) Loweswater has a lovely view and is a good size, but we were very disappointed with the interior. It desperately needs modernising and redecorating to bring it into... More

We stayed here at the beginning of July. If you are looking for a peaceful location then this is the place for you however there are no shops, pubs or restaurants anywhere in the nearby vicinity so you would have to drive. There is one on-site shop open for two hours five days a week but it's supplies are limited... More

We echo the comments of the previous holiday makers ( Pam/ Maidenhead ) The site itself is quiet and well situated, perfect for our fell walking aims however the property is damp, the smell of dampness is impossible to get rid of, we opened windows, put dehumidifiers on, bearing in mind that the weather was glorious we still couldn't eradicate... Having stayed in the Merlins 2 years ago, we looked forward to returning to Neaum Crag. We stayed in the Ruskin, booking through Cumbrian Cottages. The Ruskin is inferior in all respects to the Merlins, we think it is rated a star lower but still expected that the Ruskin to be satisfactory. Biggest issue is that the chalet is damp.... More

Just had a fantastic holiday at Neaum Crag, staying in a cabin / lodge / chalet or whatever you wish to call it. The location is quiet (although during the day you can sometimes hear a little noise from the road far below - but nothing you really notice). It is superbly situated for easy access to the heart of... More

This was our first visit to Neaum Crag Estate and we stayed at Neaum Crag House which is a beautiful old stone manor house overlooking the Langdale Valley. We stayed in the lovely 'Colwith cottage' which has it's own parking space. It's a self-catering accommodation for up to 4 people and a deserved 4* rating. It's spacious, tastefully decorated and...
