Neaum Crag is a small development of log cabins in the Lake District, about 6 miles from Ambleside and Coniston.
The cabins are prvately owned and some are let out to holidaymakers by the owners.
It is a lovely place, the cabins are surrounded by trees and each set out on an individual plot at different parts of the sloping site so you are rarely overlooked by other units.
There is a nice pool hall with small pool and tennis table, but no lifeguard.
The estate is clean and well maintained and the site/letting managers are friendly and helpful. A very small shop, open for a couple of hours each day sells a few basics.
We have holidayed there every year for many years and have always enjoyed the cabins and the location - many great walks right from your front door.
