Really nice b&b. Very clean , nice sized room with settee , wardrobe & plenty of drawers. good breakfast & very obliging. Lovely little girl olivia , basil the cockerpoo , & bonnie the cat. Great location in the middle of everything.

Not really a 4 star establisment! Rooms clean and comfortable and breakfasts excellent. Left the empty shampoo and gell on the basin and still there when we returned to the room in the evening, we only got 1 small shampoo and 1 shower gel for a 3 night stay! Just came back from this lovely bed and breakfast in ambleside. Simon and his wife looked after me and my wife from start to finish. The hotel was spotless. Room 5 was just peaceful and charming. Another great relaxing stay, our 3rd time here and always a great welcome on arrival. The rooms are always clean and well decorated, the bathroom is a little tight around the toilet but then I'm an ex rugby prop so my issue not the hotels. Breakfast was spot on as ever. Stayed for two nights with friends. Shops, pubs, restaurants within easy walking distance. We had room 5, which was a good size. Wall mounted TV, tea/ coffee making facilities, hairdryer. We have just returned from a weekend break in Ambleside, staying at Kent House. This accomadation is in an excellent location (opposite the Churchill Pub).
