Stayed just 1 night and had a loveley room overlooking the Humber Bridge the shower was poor but that is all I can criticise. You just don't realise that you on an industrial estate . Its very nice inside and the breakfast was lovely with a great selection. Would recommend this for any one More

I must write this as I keep promising I will, people only write bad things and it should be said when a Hotel is GOOD ! Over the last 9 months I have stayed at the Village in Hull 10 times. A few times on business and also for pleasure. We stayed over the Christmas period and went to the... More

Started bad as my booking had somehow been cancelled even though there were no issues with my booking system. First room was just awful (316) Bathroom mouldy and the room smelled rank. Replacement room (418) not much better but at least the mould in the bathroom was minimal. Toilet had obviously never seen bleach for a long time! Housekeeping here... More

Ok, I have stayed at this hotel a number of times now on business, this is definitely my last! Let's face it expectations of a 60 to 80 pound a night hotel aren't that high, but this Village has got big problems. All I ask is for cleanliness, a good shower, reasonable breakfast, and professional service. I'm afraid I've been... More

The hotel was empty of both staff and guests, almost spooky quite, probably due to being the end of a bank holiday. The room was clean and pleasant, though the shower was disappointing. Also disappointed in the early closure of the Health Club. This is something I find in some of the more disapponiting Villages, closing up when ever they... More

I recently booked a room here with a view to proposing to my partner, it is one of the nicest in Hull, and despite being a resident of the city wanted something special. The room was pleasant, but it didn't distinguish itself from say a premier inn in any way, same in-room features, facilities etc, and similar decor. However that's... More

Dirty bathroom (pubic hairs around bath) and a general feeling that the hotel was in decline. Last time I couldn't fault it so was looking forward to returning but what a disappointment. The room service was even worse; ordered the grilled chicken and it arrived with a skewer of kidneys! Coleslaw was a pile of fried cabbage. Rang room service... More

I took my wife for a mini break to Kingston Upon Hull.Where do we stay? After much trawling of the internet I happened upon The Village. The Hotel is part of the DeVere group. I was very surprised at how inexpensive the double room with full breakfast was,£65 per night. We were staying for 2 nights so £130 bed and breakfast,result.When... More

Very clean room although a little noisey by the motorway, loads of car parking places, lovely view over the Humnber, great early diner menu @ £10.99 for a 3 Course although astonished at the price of a glass of wine at £5.86 and a pint of beer at £3.80, probably what I expected for the beer but not for the... My cousin booked 14 of us into the hotel a year ago for my hen party on 14th April 2012. She also rang to confirm the booking a week before the stay to make sure everything was ok and all was fine. On arrival to the hotel on the 14th April we was told the hotel had double booked and... More
