Location ideal, close to town centre but enclosed in a quiet Victorian area with park and theatre in view of my window. Greeted by friendly, attentive staff which remained so throughout my stay. Rooms clean with all the essentials. Breakfast was superb and left with uplifted spirits. Highly recommend.

This small, clean, inexpencive victorian hotel with its narrow corridors in various directions, its stairs, corners and rooms is inviting and cosy. The colours are warm white with winered soft carpets. The whole atmosphere in the living areas, in the small bar/reseption and in the dining room are home-like and friendly. This impression is strenghened by the including and helpful... More

When there's a picture in black and white above reception of the founder ( since died ) you know you are in for an eclectic experience. The hotel is in a pleasant and quiet square, unsurprisingly near the Theatre. It seems to have a high occupancy rate. The good is the location, the pleasant, but dated spacious room. We had... More

I stayed at the Kingston Theatre Hotel for two nights in late November with my husband and two young kids. We were in a family room at the top of the main building-- had one double bed, one twin and one cot. It was exactly the bed configuration we needed. We enjoyed being at the top of the building and... I stayed for 4 nights in December 2014. The hotel is in a delightful Victorian style building in Hull theatre square. I was upgraded to a Junior Suite (229) with the room in an adjoining building with key card security access. Both the bed room and bathroom were large and front facing with views over the park in the square.... More

We had a wonderful wedding day at the Kingston Theatre Hotel. I stayed the night before the wedding with my granddaughters in a family room and it was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for Gary and the staff at the hotel and our day couldn't have been better. We were looked after wonderfully before and after we got married... More

Stayed overnight as I had an early meeting in Hull next day. Booked on the morning of travel. Check in was fast and efficient and room in another building which was one minute walk away. Room was spotless with a huge king size bed and tea/;coffee making facilities. Bathroom was again spotless and also of a good size. Only downside... More

This is by no means a boutique hotel but is quaint and in an excellent location for the Kingston Theatre and city centre. The staff were really lovely - the breakfast first class. We would have had an evening meal but it was just too busy - which proves the food is good. We will definitely be back if visiting... More
