It was the first time me and my family had been in a hotel and it was a brilliant experience. The staff behind the reception are absolutely brilliant and helped with hiccups and the bar staff are brilliant. The staff were so kind and so conciderate. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is going in the area. Would... More

Booked a business associate into the Kingston Theatre Hotel Thursday last for one night and have to say was somewhat nervous as this individual is difficult to please at the best of times. My concerns where completely unfounded as my colleague/associate was full of praise and thoroughly enjoyed his stay, praising the friendliness of staff, quality of food and extremely... More

I was in the "Emily Suite" which was large, clean and quiet. Furnished to a good standard with large bed and TV. Usual extras like tea-making, hairdryer, etc. Meals were ample and reasonably priced. I'd stay there again. Only small problem was with car parking during the day. It's free from 6pm to 8am but metered during the day. 10min's... More

Popped in for a meal all be it in the bar and was a bit disappointed. The service was friendly and the food was ok but the menu is dated and over priced for basic choices. Plastic flickering candles on the tables and a shabby feel certainly didn't help when being over charged for what amounts to pub food. Wouldn't... More

Stayed overnight. Pleasant location directly opposite the New Theatre with a garden square between us (a bit like Albert Square from Eastenders). Quiet location and just a short walk to the city centre shops. Friendly helpful staff

After an mishap with being double booked at this hotel we eventually visited for an overnight complimentary stay of Bed and Breakfast, in Executive rooms. Although we were greeted politely and our requests had been honoured, we were then given rooms in the extended area of the hotel . Which meant that we had to walk down the street to... More

Unfortunately Hull is a bit run down with pavements being dug up and a host of empty properties adorned with a multitude of 'For Rent' signs. There is also very little choice of good places to eat in Hull Centre. The Kingston Theatre Hotel clearly gets its name from the Theatre which is just in front of it in the... More

Some aspects good = some not so. Good location in quiet square, and close to old Hull and museum area. Hotel has quaint Victorian interior. Breakfast poor and reminiscent of school dinners. Tinned tomatoes and rather poor quality sausages. Had no sooner started on cereals, when cooked breakfast brought to table. Bedroom in attic - cosy but felt like being... More

Have stayed at the KTH a number of times now and will keep doing so. Hotel is lovely and clean, very homely, food excellent, topped off by really friendly and efficient staff. A far better option if you're visiting Hull than an anonymous chain hotel. Highly recommended!

Myself and a colleague stayed here for one night before an event at the Football Stadium. This Hotel does everything right, from the welcome that you receive on check in to the friendly staff to the food and lovely comfy beds. I stayed in Room 14, a lovely big Family Room with big TV and generous Tea and Coffee making... More
