We normally stay at the Ibis when visiting relatives in Hull and have never had any problems in the past. On this occasion however, the same cannot be said. We had only stayed here the previous week and everything was ok. Like other reviewers have said, for the money, great value. Centre of the city, near to public transport options... more

The Ibis Hull is, as stated in my title, good value for money. This is a budget hotel and as such you should not imagine that you are going to get great luxury. What you do get is an incredibly friendly and helpful staff, clean good-sized rooms and a nice eating area off the lobby. The location of the hotel... more

The Ibis at Hull is fine for a short stay at a budget hotel but I wouldn't fancy a longer stay there. I was woken once by the ambulance depot next door but otherwise no problems. The location is very central and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and tidy and a nice... more

I often stay in budget hotels but I mainly prefer the Ibis chain. It would definitely be the best quality of all the bugdet chains. The rooms are fairly spacious and have all the amenities that are required for a basic nights stay. The showers are better than some four star hotels I have stayed in and each room has... more

Had to stop over in Hull and the Holiday Inn was full so stopped in the Ibis. The reception experience was ok and we were efficiently dispatched up to our rooms. The room was clean, adequate, the paint work on the walls was scratched, but what’s the problem. Where there was a problem, was the external noise, the building has... more

Considering this is a reasonably recent addition to the Hull hotel market you ave to say that already it has become one of the worst places to stay in Hull. First - its location: directly opposite a nightclub, the Ibis is also next door but one to the main ambulance station in Hull. Primarily, and despite repeated police crackdowns, it... more

Stayed at the Ibis Hull this weekend and had a terrible experience. Hotel lobby is smokey and generally smells dreadful. Our room smelt horrible and had suspicious stains on the wall, cigarette burns in the bedlinen, broken furniture... I could go on. Far worse were the drunk rolling around reception at 3 in the afternoon, the old man with a... more
