Stayed one night and as the title says, ok for a cheap stay! We had a large party so were charged £58 B&B per person.... would not want to pay any more, average hotel.. well dated and the decor was showing that, my particular room was "suitable" en suite with a shower above the bath, albeit it was not a... more

Firstly, nice friendly staff, particularly the bloke on reception, but a few problems. Unlike the previous reviews, it was not a cheap room. At over £80 for a one night stay, it should have been far better. This was not good value at all. The room was small and grubby. The window was mouldy and had obviously not been cleaned... more

Beautiful location next to a park, excellent bed (firm & new with nice linens), great big bathroom with lots of hot water. Had a delicious lunch in the dining room--roast lamb with lots of vegetables. The bar is a bit expensive and closes early, but is still comfortable and cozy. I would definitely stay here again. more

We'd been on a family cycle tour for three days when we arrived weary at the Pearson Park. It's in a great location overlooking a green park and the victorian building has many of its original features and our rooms all looked over the park. However it is the welcoming staff who really made our stay special. We were an... more

Attended a wedding last week. WE were quoted £50 per room and then were asked for £60 per room. At the bar we were paying higher prices as the night went on for the same round of drinks. The window in the room we were in had been broken and boarded up therefore we could not get any air in.... more

We stayed at this facility in 2003 and 2005 and it was wonderful! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The cost is very reasonable. We have returned several times and will continue to contact Pearson Park when we are in the area on holiday. more

Kingston-upon-Hull was once, allegedly, voted the worst place to live at in Britain but makes a much better impression on arrival, especially when coming by train along the Humber estuary. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about this hotel. Positives were the low price, the relative spaciousness of the room, the location at the edge of a park, and that... more

I stayed at Pearson Park Hotel for 3 nights last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is Victorian, the bedroom was large and well-proportioned, beautifully fitted and furnished. The public areas are very pleasant and the terrace looks out over the park. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming and breakfast and dinner were good, each day. I have... more

My husband and I booked a 1 night stay at the Pearson Park Hotel while visiting family. It is a lovely hotel with really friendly staff and a very cosy bar. I would recommend staying here while in Hull as you are close to the town, but far enough away to be undisturbed by noise and passing traffic. As for... more
